I din MIA (missing-in-action) on 20 Oct 2008.. i applied for leave long time ago oredi....

My boss sms me at 9:13am. He said "Are you on leave? It is not in the system"... I was shocked... I called Lan Eng to check for me, she said its really not in the system... I called my boss, told him i m on leave, i applied oredi, but he said dun haf... He asked me if i busy today, i say no.. Then he told me to take urgent leave... I called Foo & Lee Kong Leong to check for me, both said no apply...

Wah!! Die liao... I 明明 applied then noted in my calendar, but how come dun have??!! After that, i called Nick, he said then take urgent leave lor. If not, then go back work lor...

So i called my boss back and told him i goin back work now and morning claim time off.... He say ok..

I went back to work at 1030am... I went into the system and checked, reali dun haf... But had applied in Nov20... Oh my god! i actuali applied the wrong month.... I went in the tell my boss, i applied the wrong month, not i MIA... I will take time-off 2hrs for the morning session... But i dun haf time-ff to take, so i told him i work late today... He actuali told me dun need...

But i feel bad, so i worked late till 730pm, when Nick came pick me up...

Wat a fright i got!! Jus being promoted to STO, still acting, then got tis kind of mistake... so bad!!!

Forgiveness for Yourself

We're always being told "Forget what happened. Put it behind you and move on." It's not that easy, is it?

Forgiving someone who has done you an injustice is difficult; it even feels illogical, because we feel that we are letting the wrongdoer off the hook. But forgiving does not equate letting someone off the hook. Forgiveness doesn't mean that you are condoning bad behaviour. Forgiveness is not about the other person. It's about you.

You forgive people not for their sake, but for your own sake. You forgive because that's the only way you can set yourself free. When you forgive, you're letting go of anger, of hurt, helplessness or shame. Like love, when forgiveness is given unconditionally, it's incredibly empowering for the giver. When you set conditions on forgiveness, you give power to your tormentors. You make it easier for them to hurt you again.

Regrets and resentments we have been holding on to for years often cause stress. These grudges rob us of peace of mind and hamper our growth.

Peace of mind is required for healing to take place. Forgiveness can bring that peace of mind. That said though, nobody should demand or expect forgiveness from you. It is nobody's birthright to be forgiven. It's up to you when you are ready and when you want to forgive them. You have to work through your anger and sense of loss before you will be able to do that. Others can ask you for forgiveness but not expect it. To expect forgiveness builds up even more resentment.

But we all should practice forgiveness regularly to uncluttered our mind. When we forgive, we remove what's blocking our energy and happiness. We open doors to fresh air and light.

went to chalet for bbq on my birthday again...
